Suraj Dhillon | Attorney
Suraj Singh Dhillon is a practicing attorney throughout the State of
Oklahoma. Suraj began his career with Gies Law Firm, PLLC as a summer
intern, in fact Suraj was the first ever intern we hired since the founding of
this firm. Beginning in the summer of 2021, Suraj has been fortunate to have
handled a myriad of cases streaming from compliance issues, settlement
negotiations, contract disputes, business counseling services, and personal
injury law. Prior to joining our team Suraj was primarily serving clients and
gaining first-hand legal experience of personal injury matters such as (motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls cases, and medical malpractice violations). Suraj intends to further this act of service in Oklahoma and help get injured Oklahomans' the compensation they deserve.
Suraj was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. Being a student-athlete from
high school onward, it was Suraj's dream to play college football, it was a
goal he set out because he appreciated the game and its commitment to
excellence. Suraj believes in the pursuit of progress and is unafraid to put
forth the consistent hard work required for such progress. Playing college
football at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and later at the University
of Northern Colorado; Suraj further practiced the disciplined approach
necessary for today's businesses and its ever-emerging legal landscape.
Suraj believes his experience of being a disciplined, hardworking student
athlete serves at the foundation of how he wishes to practice law. In keeping the client's best interest in mind, Suraj aims to serve beyond the expectationof his clients. Suraj aims to treat each case with the respect it deserves, appreciating the game at hand, but playing with the intention of winning.
Suraj attended the University of Northern Colorado where he earned his
business degree, while at the Monfort College of Business, Suraj focused his
business interests on the best practices for the marketing and management of a business. On the basis of merit, Suraj was chosen to be an international business competitor/spokesman for the university, participating in a variety of international business games and or business conferences in and throughout Europe. (EU). Upon graduating, Suraj attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate.
While at OKC School of Law, Suraj founded the "CANNABIS LAW SOCIETY", a new student organization at the law school. Serving as the first president of this newly formed legal society, Suraj's vision was to better understand the community's perception of cannabis related laws and to create an open dialogue between interested law students and others already cemented within the corporate cannabis world.
